This training program is created for individuals offshore who want to pursue studies in their current residing home country before taking the next steps to study and work onshore in Australia. This opportunity presently extends to GeSS Education students situated in Papua New Guinea, India and Philippines.
Through partnerships with distinguished offshore learning institutes within these countries, GeSS Education has curated an online blended training program aligned with Australian Quality Framework (AQF) accredited qualifications for select courses delivered through our user-friendly online Learning Management System (GeSS LMS). All course materials are available 24/7 through the GeSS LMS alongside physical classes in your home country with localised learning institute partners. This dynamic learning environment and blended delivery provides the localised support you need and ensures a comprehensive virtual classroom experience, facilitated by Australian trainers who conduct the online training program. GeSS Education delivers qualifications on behalf of our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partners, under third-party agreements – these RTOs uphold the highest standards and oversee the assessment process, ensuring the authenticity and quality of your qualification.
Upon the successful completion of your AQF qualification, you will be given the opportunity to continue your education within Australia. This transition can be facilitated through a pathway Diploma, direct University admission or additionally through an innovative visa pathway program opening doors for sponsorship opportunities within the healthcare industry.

VISA PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES
Upon offshore in-country training successful completion of CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support*, specialising in Age Care and Disability, students are eligible to apply for a Training Visa (subclass 407) to undertake their work placement onshore, a Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482) which now leads to a two-year working pathway to Australian Permanent Residency or a Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Stream Temporary Work Visa (Subclass 403) depending on students nationality, eligibility and availability. GeSS Education in partnership with Health+ People, a leading Australian Recruitment Agency, and multiple aged care facilities will work to find you a suitable Australian employer within the aged and/or disability health sector to sponsor you for your Visa. These Visa Program Opportunities are currently available for GeSS Education onshore students and offshore in-country training students within India, Philippines and Papua New Guinea only. Student selection for this program is based on student attendance and behaviour to ensure employability skills are transferable to prospective employers. Students are to apply for this program on completion of their GeSS Education course.

• Hold a relevant Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate III or equivalent, or higher qualification.
• English language proficiency level of at least IELTS 5.0 or equivalent.
• Valid passport
*This qualification will be delivered by GeSS Education on behalf of our partner RTO, Fraser Coast TESS (provider code 1826), under a third-party arrangement. COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
• Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
• English language proficiency level of at least IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
NURSE PATHWAY PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY
Our Offshore In-Country Training Program is also available as an ONLINE DELIVERY OPTION to WORKING NURSES (RNs) either in India or the Philippines.
Upon online successful completion of CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support*, specialising in Age Care and Disability, working nurses are eligible to apply for a Training Visa (subclass 407) to undertake their work placement onshore, a Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482) which now leads to a two-year working pathway to Australian Permanent Residency depending on students nationality, eligibility and availability. GeSS Education in partnership with Health+ People, a leading Australian Recruitment Agency, and multiple aged care facilities will work to find you a suitable Australian employer within the aged and/or disability health sector to sponsor you for your Visa. Student selection for this program is based on student behaviour to ensure employability skills are transferable to prospective employers. Students are to apply for this program on completion of their GeSS Education course.
For our Nursing Pathway Program, you must be prepared to undertake the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration process so that you can become an Australian Registered Nurse. Once registration approved you will need to apply for a Skills Assessment Test with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC)which will be conducted in Australia while you are working. If students undertake AHPRA process while in their home country, then students can potentially come over on a subclass 482. If your employer has an Aged Care Labour Agreement with the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) then they may bring you over on a subclass 482 visa while you undertake your AHPRA registration. Some employers will want students to come over under a subclass 407 visa to work for at least 12 months while you undertake the AHPRA process in Australia. In this scenario, students will work as a Personal Care Worker (PCW) until such time as you are an Australian Registered Nurse (RN). Once that occurs the employer can sponsor you for a subclass 482 visa.

• Hold a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree or equivalent from your home country
• English language proficiency level of at least IELTS 7.0 or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse Certificate
• Resume
• At least 3 years’ experience as a working Registered Nurse
• Valid passport
• Be willing to undertake the AHPRA registration process
